Biography

Dr. Kirk Jackson became Department Chair for the School of Business in January 2024. He has served in Christian higher education since 2007 and has held faculty and administrative roles at several institutions. Prior to his time in higher education, he worked in the banking industry in Oklahoma City. In addition to his academic work, he is a licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene and enjoys serving in his local church. He and his wife, Rachel, are both SNU alumni and are excited to be connected again with the SNU community. He enjoys traveling with this wife and their son, Daniel, and spending time with their extended family.

My wife and I love to go to movies, travel, and serve in our local church. I am named after a science fiction character (Captain Kirk). This is what happens with parents allow my older brother (who was 4 years old at the time) help pick my name.
